Thanks for the comment Tracy. My interesty was stirred by Scott’s post and now it has led me to others who are blogging about Ed. leadership. It is nice to know there are others out there!
You make good points in your response. You are right, I think, that the the age of admin may be of little significance because the technology is always changing. Though once digitally-minded always digitally-minded, so I think the first wave of tech savvy administrators will be an important kick-start. I don’t think we’ll be the ones afraid of new technologies in 20 years. Who knows what we’ll be facing though!
I also was completely shifted by the Shift Happens slideshow — I spread it all about. I think it will cause many new people to thiink differently about the digital world and education, but I am not sure it is what most admin need to start change. It is still a bit removed from the day-to-day of schools and classrooms.
I really like your blog — both the content and the look of it. I hope that I will be able to find the time to develop something as complete as yours.
